So, my long set aside ‘Sonnet’ has found it’s way back into my favor…somehow. I’m not sure how it happened, but I’ve been working on Sonnet everyday for about a week and I’m slowly making my way through it.

It’s an easy knit, which I think is part of my problem. Too much garter stitch, does not interesting knitting make, but it’s great for those times when I need to keep my hands busy, but let my mind digest other things. I think I may have the body done by Wednesday, otherwise, it might make a trip to Cali with me. I think I’ve decided to knit the sleeves with a solid color and possibly one thin stripe. And they’ll be short sleeves, because…well, I don’t want them to be full length. So there.

I’m debating on starting them at the top and working down, so that I can decide when they’re long enough, vs having them be a bit too long.

I guess this just goes to show, long neglected projects do eventually make an appeal to become FO and sometimes it even works…
